Description
Engine Power Boost. Add more power to your Silverado 1500’s performance by replacing your restrictive intake system with this K&N Series 63 AirCharger Cold Air Intake. This AirCharger is designed to optimize the mixture of gas and air to facilitate an efficient combustion process. The larger volume of cleaner, oxygen-rich air that goes into the system facilitates bolder performance out of your Silverado.
No Tune Required. K&N engineered their Series 63 AirCharger Intake to improve the performance of your Silverado without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Performance Cotton Gauze Air Filter. The high-flow air filter in this Series 63 AirCharger can be washed and reused. It is designed to operate for 100,000 miles before it needs its first cleaning. The red cotton gauze is made for superior filtration capacity. Moreover, the filter configuration allows an efficient airflow and ensures that the air directed to the chamber is free of tiny particles and contaminants that can cause potential damage.
Durable Construction. This Series 63 AirCharger uses a high-density polyethylene intake tube, which is manufactured via rotational molding for superior strength and durability. The high-flow design has unrestricted bends that promote continuous air flow. In addition, the high-strength air box efficiently prevents the hotter, surrounding air from entering the system while protecting the air filter.
Simple, Bolt-On Installation. K&N includes all necessary components and hardware to replace your truck's entire intake system. Using common hand tools, installing this kit will be an easy task you can complete in no more than an hour.
Limited Warranty. K&N backs this Series 63 Intake System with a limited warranty for a 10-year period or million-mile use from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship and comes with exclusions and limitations. Please check the full warranty policy for complete details.
