This kit is engineered to lower your truck’s front and rear by 2 and 4 inches, respectively, giving it a more imposing presence on the streets. Additionally, this lowered and leveled look also reduces your vehicle’s center of gravity. These factors help boost handling, particularly when cornering, so your truck drives just as good as it looks.
Front and Rear Street Performance Shock Absorbers. This lowering kit includes a pair of front and rear Street Performance lowering shock absorbers, giving you a smooth ride that doesn’t compromise on performance. These shocks’ gas-charged twin-tube technology provides a more accurate damping response when driven more aggressively and a comfortable ride when cruising. Additionally, their 0.60-inch chrome-hardened piston rods and 2-inch wide shock bodies offer superior durability. Finally, these dampers feature metal dust boots, which further protect the piston rods, increasing their service life.
Heavy-Grade Front Lowering Spindles. Providing the front end with its 2-inch lowered height is a pair of specially designed front lowering spindles. These lowering spindles help ensure steering geometry is maintained at near factory levels. Moreover, these spindles are machine-formed to exact specifications from high-grade ductile iron, offering superior strength, an accurate fit, and reliable performance.
Rugged Rear Lowering Shackles. This kit includes a pair of specially designed lowering shackles that lower the rear by 2 inches. These shackles are machine-formed from high-grade steel before being finished in a corrosion-resistant black powder coating. These features ensure an accurate fit long and service life. These shackles also feature high-quality synthetic bushings and a tough alloy sleeve for smooth engagement.
Rear Flip Kit. This lowering kit also includes a rear flip kit that works in tandem with the lowering shackles to provide a total of 4 inches of lowered height. This kit includes everything you need to relocate your truck’s axle over the leaf springs without compromising suspension geometry and handling. These components include axle saddles, U-bolt plates, and a transmission spacer. This kit also includes a pair of polymer bump stops which also work to maintain a comfortable ride.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this kit will require cutting and drilling as well as high-level mechanical knowledge. You will also need a complete set of mechanic’s tools. If you are not used to this type of install, professional installation is recommended.
