Installing a high-performance cold air intake like the AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake with Pro DRY S Filter is a proven and effective way to get more horsepower and torque out of your truck’s engine. Moreover, the Momentum GT is designed for easy installation and maintenance for long-lasting and hassle-free service.
No Tune Required. Another factor that makes installing the Momentum GT easy is that it doesn’t require reprogramming the Sierra’s ECU. While it works well with the Sierra’s factory tune, a retune is still recommended to get the best performance.
Includes Pro DRY S Air Filter. The Momentum GT uses a high-performance 3-layered synthetic media with increasing porosity. This results in superior filtration and airflow. Additionally, the filter is durable and can be cleaned for long service.
High-Quality Air Box. The AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake features a 1-piece dyno-tuned, roto-molded housing for a perfect fit and ease of installation. Furthermore, the high-quality plastic is heat soak-resistant to ensure the coolest cold-air charge possible.
Straightforward Installation. The Momentum GT installation does not require any cutting or drilling. The kit also comes with all required hardware to help make the install easy.
Not CARB-Certified. The Momentum GT is not CARB certified at this time. It may not be installed on vehicles for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
Application. The AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake with Pro DRY S Filter and black finish is designed to fit 2014-2018 6.2L GMC Sierra 1500 models.
