The springs on the coil-overs, on the other hand, boast a top-quality racing build to deliver an optimal spring rate.

High-Quality Components. To keep up with your most demanding off-road adventures, Ford Performance crafted these shocks from sturdy and long-lasting components. The shocks boast a 2.0, one-piece, impact-extruded body made from CNC machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum, and come with a hard-anodized finish. This makes them extremely durable and highly resistant to rust. They also feature a 0.625-inch shaft made from hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel, as well as black-anodized, CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components. You can rest assured that these shocks won’t break or fail you so easily even when the trails get tough.
Direct, Bolt-On Installation. Installing the items in this Off-Road 2.0 Suspension Kit is pretty straightforward. The front coil-over and rear shocks bolt to your truck’s OE locations without the need for drilling or welding. However, the task calls for moderate mechanical expertise to ensure that the procedure goes smoothly. The installation will take no more than 4 hours to complete.
