Description
Affordable Lift System for Better Off-Road Performance. Give your Ford Super Duty a boost in its off-road performance with this Fabtech 6-Inch Basic Lift System With Stealth Shocks. This affordable lift kit gives your truck a 6-inch lift height on the front and rear, which smooths out your ride experience both in the city, and out on the trails. More ground clearance also means more room for bigger tires and wheels. This basic lift system also includes a track bar relocation bracket, sway bar drop brackets, and a pitman arm for more stability, better handling, and improved steering response.
Fabtech Stealth Series Front and Rear Shocks. Fabtech included a complete set of their Stealth series shocks with this basic lift kit. Fabtech Stealth shocks have a monotube design, featuring 46-mm-diameter high-flow pistons and 14-mm nitrocarburized piston rods. These parts help reduce shock fade, which ensures a smooth ride even on the roughest terrains. These parts are also guaranteed to last for years, with their excellent corrosion resistance properties.
Fabtech Front Coil Springs. This basic lift system includes a pair of coil springs to give the front-end lift height of 6 inches. These springs are made from high-quality spring steel, coated with a corrosion-resistant finish. The added height from these front coil springs result in a more balanced stance and also gives you a wider range of vision.
Rear Lift Blocks With U-Bolt Kit. The 6-inch rear lift height of this system is delivered by Fabtech rear lift blocks, made from heavy-duty steel. These rear blocks have a tapered design, which helps make your truck more “drivable” by reducing the driveshaft angle. Fabtech also included a U-bolt kit with the rear blocks for a secure installation of the blocks.
Track Bar Relocation Bracket. To make sure that the track bar is properly positioned on the axle, this basic lift system includes a track bar relocation bracket. This helps eliminate the dreaded "death wobble" and makes sure that the components don’t rub against each other too much. This helps extend the lifespan of your suspension parts.
Sway Bar Drop Brackets. Fabtech also included sway bar drop brackets with this lift system, so your truck won't experience any handling issues like less control and excessive body roll. Installing these sway bar drop brackets will help improve handling and articulation for both low-speed and high-speed driving. These components also help reduce body roll when turning and cornering.
Straightforward Installation. This basic lift system is designed for a no-weld installation, although some drilling is required for some of the parts. Installation of all the components can be completed in a couple hours. Upon installation, the manufacturer recommends a re-torquing of the nuts, bolts, and lugs after 50 miles and then periodically after the initial re-torque.
