The sound isn't meant to be aggressive but more mild. On the same note, though, this keeps the sound impressive without sounding obnoxious or overpowering when your inside the cab. When you rev your engine, though, even these mild tones will showcase power.
No Restrictions on Power. To showcase power, you have to have it. With the Borla Touring Dual Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Chrome Tips, you will get plenty of power. First, you will notice that your horsepower and torque are higher. However, you will also experience a drop in gas mileage using this system as well.
Mandrel-Bent Design. You need the gases in your vehicle to exit as quickly as possible. With a mandrel-bent design, though, you won't have any kinks that these gases will run into. With the use of stainless steel, though, you are going to benefit otherwise as well. For example, steel is rust and corrosion resistant as well as incredibly strong.
Basic Installation.The Borla Touring Dual Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Chrome Tips is made to be easy to install. You will only need moderate knowledge about your truck and some basic hand tools. Beyond that, everything is shipped to you with the system including a detailed instruction manual.
Application.This Borla Touring Dual Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Chrome Tips is specifically designed to be used on the 2015-2020 2.7L EcoBoost F-150s with the following Cab and Bed sizes:
- SuperCab with a 6.5 ft. Bed
- SuperCab with a 8 ft. Bed (163-Inch Wheelbase Exhaust Adapter, part# 60564, is Required)
- SuperCrew with a 5.5 ft. Bed
- SuperCrew with a 6.5 ft. Bed (157-Inch Wheelbase Exhaust Adapter, part# 60556, is Required)
