This truck bed rear bar features hook bolts and is engineered to work with a BackRack guard or a standard headache rack, enabling you to secure longer loads. Likewise, its unique design allows you to use certain tonneau covers, eliminating the need for the cover’s removal when hauling. What’s more, its low profile form factor makes it ideal for garages with low ceilings.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This rear bar is built using heavy-duty 2-inch square steel tubes for exceptional durability. Moreover, these steel tubes are machine-formed to exact specifications, offering an OE-grade fit when installed. Meanwhile, a pair of plastic end caps gives the bar a finished look. Rounding out its construction is a durable black powder coat finish for superior corrosion protection and stylish looks.
Simple Installation. Installing this truck bed rear bar is a breeze as it’s designed to insert into your truck’s bed stake pockets closest to the tailgate without additional or other modifications in most applications. In fact, the only potential modification needed is to cut out a portion of your plastic bed rail caps if you have them on your Sierra 3500. Minor assembly is also necessary but installation requires just standard hand tools.
