Enhanced Stock Sound. The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System with Black Tip is the economical solution to your exhaust sound upgrade needs. This DPF-back exhaust is engineered to take your truck’s stock exhaust sound and take it to the next level by adding that distinctive low-end rumble while keeping its volume at manageable levels. This results in an exhaust tone that’s loud enough to turn heads, but not to wake up your sleeping neighbors.
Exhaust Flow Upgrade. The AFE DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System’s large diameter piping is engineered to work with your stock exhaust system from the DPF backward to provide superior exhaust flow. This improved exhaust flow reduces back-pressure, which in turn boosts power and torque.
Rugged Build Quality. The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System features 5-inch wide piping constructed from 409 stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. Each of this DPF-back exhaust system’s piping is mandrel-bent to eliminate turbulence spots as well as add rigidity. Moreover, this exhaust includes a wrinkle-black finished exhaust tip for rugged looks.
No-Frills Install Procedure. The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System with Black Tip mounts directly to your truck’s factory exhaust location right after the DPF. Minor trimming of this exhaust’s mid-pipe may be necessary depending on your truck bed’s length. Save for this step, installation is a relatively no-frills procedure that requires just standard hand tools.
