Superior Cotton Filter. In addition to the volume of air, you can also expect a better air quality with the superior Quantum Pro 5R Filter in this kit. It comes in a conical form with 5 layers of cotton media to make sure that not even microscopic dust and debris can penetrate your engine.
XLPE Intake Tube. The AFE Quantum Air Intake Tube included in this kit is not only CAD-designed but it’s made of cross-linked polyethylene material. This high-tech material prevents heat soaking, ensuring that the air flowing into the engine remains cool until combustion.
Simplified Installation. While you can always hire a professional installer, the AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake is designed for a simple installation. All the fittings and hardware are already included. The tools you will need are readily available in every garage and all the instructions are included in a helpful guide.
Comes With a Two-Year Warranty. The AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter is protected by a non-transferable 2-year warranty. This coverage extends to material and workmanship defects from the factory but not damages resulting from installation, shipping, accidents, abuse, and unauthorized repairs.
Not CARB-Certified. Unfortunately, the AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake is not CARB-exempt. The system is not legal for street use in California and other states adopting the same emissions standards.
